PilotAware is a minimal cost system in which the Hardware and RF Protocol is made public.
The System is capable of Receiving ADS-B, Transmitting NMEA messages to a transponder capable of providing ADS-B out.
PilotAware relies on GPS data delivered to the hardware over a wifi link. This app runs on an Android device to deliver this data in the correct format.
**** PLEASE NOTE****
This is a first release of the app, pushed out rapidly in order to provide a functioning system for Android users. It is a work in progress at present. At the moment it works for me on my setup. If you find it doesn't work as expected or doesn't work at all then please don't complain. I'm happy to hear of your experiences.
